Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actor who has appeared in a variety of television shows. VanCamp also has a great record in the world of film. Both Canadian and American TV are fans of Emily VanCamp. Emily became interested in the acting when she was 12. She visited her older sister Katie in the film studio. After discovering her enthusiasm for the acting world she enrolled herself in classes to learn about it and started auditioning. Her first audition was for commercials, but soon got selected as a child actress on the Canadian television show, Are You Scared of Darkness? It was the only scene where she was unable to talk. In the WB program Glory Days, she received her first major break at the age of 15. Although the show was canceled after only nine episodes, her performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who enlisted her on his television show Everwood. Emily was also a photographer and ballerina was praised by Teen magazine as one of the best actresses younger than 20. Maxim ranked her 51st on its Hot 100 of 2014.
