Gerina-Piller
She was born on 29 March 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza was her birth name. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Stevenson is American and is of Mexican American heritage. From a young age, her desire to be involved in sports was evident. Gerina began golfing when she was the age of 15. Gerina graduated from Goddard High School. In high school she won New Mexico's state golf championship. Also, she played volleyball at the level of state. She attended Texas's University of Texas, Texas, for the 2003 academic year. During her senior years she won every tournament she competed in. Through her college professional career, she took home the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year award and the Female UTEP athlete of the year.
