Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, most well-known for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive characters. Adams was born and raised in Castle Rock Colorado, as the youngest of seven children. Her father served in U.S. service in Italy. The actress began acting and dancing professionally around the middle of the 1990s, with Boulder Dinner Theatre, and after that, at the Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she relocated to Minnesota and was made a part of Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentarian film about beauty contests. She moved to Los Angeles after making her debut in the screen with the snarky but good-natured contestant. She was married to the actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 until September 1962, and was she was the mom of Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was found by actress Norma Shearer and signed a contract to join MGM during the 1940s. She appeared in several popular films over the following decade like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis-film that was released in 1954).
