Jenna Fischer's most famous role was as Pam Beesly from the popular television series The Office. In appreciation of her performance, she won the Emmy award for Outstanding Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won 2 SAG Awards.
In Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood at St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was inspired by her mom's worship services at the time she started her journey.
An actress trained in theater, Fischer returned to her home base after finishing The Office. The Off-Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy was directed and written by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. The play was followed by her participation in the world premiere of Steve Martin's new play Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking show at The Old Globe Theatre.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast that airs on Earwolf in the month of October. The podcast has proven to be an enormous success, making in the Top Ten worldwide every week, and receiving more than 200 million downloads in the first two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She's published two books: The Actor's Life A Survival Guide that outlines her journey to Hollywood acting as a professional, and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Great Friends who were There, which is a story of the greatest friendship they had and their experiences on The Office.
